Adelaide Midwives offers a comprehensive and professional approach to prenatal care.
It begins with optional pre-pregnancy counselling and advice, allowing for self-referral to our services.
Appointments can be conveniently scheduled in the comfort of your own home, or at the UniSA Midwifery Clinic for those who prefer a clinical setting (see link in Resources for more information).
Patients have the option to select a midwifery student for additional support during pregnancy and birth, enhancing the care experience.
We are committed to promoting health and an improved lifestyle, offering ongoing support and advice throughout your journey.
Financial aspects are addressed through claimable Medicare rebates and private health insurance benefits, depending on your insurer.
Additionally, for women with risk factors, there is the potential for shared care with an obstetrician under a Consultation and Referral Services Agreement, subject to approval.
This integrated approach ensures a supportive, informed, and personalised pregnancy experience.
